• We offer imaginative solutions to complex problems.  For example, we successfully defended an advanced aeronautics and space systems technology company in a patent infringement dispute involving attitude control systems for space satellites by utilizing an invalidity strategy that involved the reexamination of the patent-in-suit and resulted in the invalidation of all patent claims and subsequent dismissal of the case.
• We are regularly asked to take over difficult or complex representations mid-stream, and are frequently successful in changing the course of cases that have been handled by other counsel.  This was the situation in our representation of toy train maker Lionel LLC, in which we successfully appealed a multimillion-dollar jury verdict on trade secret claims that had plunged the company into bankruptcy.
