Mark A. Samuels is a partner in O’Melveny’s Los Angeles office.  He serves as a member of the Firm's Policy Committee and as Chief of Staff of the Firm's 550-lawyer Adversarial Department.  From 2000-2007, Mark served as Chair of the Firm’s Intellectual Property and Technology Practice.  His profile appears in Chambers USA’s “Guide to Leading Lawyers” every year since 2005, and he has been named one of California’s Top 25 intellectual property lawyers by the Los Angeles Daily Journal.  He is listed in the 2007, 2008 and 2009 editions of “Best Lawyers in America,” and recommended by the Practical Law Company in its "PLC Which Lawyer? Yearbook 2008."  He has broad experience in complex patent, trade secret, antitrust, and other technology-based litigation.  Mark’s work has included representation of:
